Ingredients for pies

• 1 c. shortening
• 1 c. sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 c. milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 c. flour
• 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon

Beat sugar, shortening together and add egg….
